Want to know the Sequatchie Valley Jamboree scores?

Written by Terescia on August 16th, 2008.

There’s talk that the Sequatchie County Indians might play well this year. The last few years of Sequatchie County Football haven’t been great (I admit I don’t watch the games and don’t know much about what’s been happening.)

For a great summary of the Sequatchie County action during the Jamboree, see Chief Sequatchie’s post Sequatchie destroy’s Eagles in Jamboree Action! on the Sequatchie County Indians blog.

There’s a set of posts about it in the CoachT.com forums.

Here’s a summary of the Jamboree scores:

Team Score Team Score
Bledsoe 12 vs. Whitwell 8
Grundy 14 vs. Sequatchie 0
South Pittsburg 20 vs. Signal Mountain 7
Marion 26 vs. Lookout Valley 0
South Pittsburg 13 vs. Grundy 0
Sequatchie 20 vs. Signal Mountain 7

Lookout Valley 6 vs. Whitwell 0

The Sequatchie County Fair starts tomorrow

Written by Terescia on August 8th, 2008.

The Sequatchie County fair starts tomorrow, running from August 9 to August 16 and will take place on the Sequatchie Fair Grounds.

I don’t have any confirmation on it yet, but I believe the Carnival starts on Tuesday night, with the exhibits open to the public mid to late next week. So after you take a few rides at the Carnival, head into the old Middle School and see who won prizes in the different competitions.

Location of the Fair

The Sequatchie County Fair is held at the old Middle School behind Heard Street. See the map below.
